The judgment

What is petty is leaving and what is great is on its way. Heaven and earth meet, and everything that grows between them thrives. This is a time of ease and good connection; enjoy it, share what it brings, and use it to strengthen what will carry you through the next change.

The six lines

Read only the lines that changed in your casting, counting from the bottom.

• Line 1 (bottom): Pull up one blade of grass and the roots of others come with it. Like-minded people move together, and setting out now goes well.
• Line 2: Be gentle with the rough, bold when crossing the river, mindful of what is far away, and free of favoritism. That is how to walk the middle way.
• Line 3: Level ground always tilts somewhere, and whatever leaves eventually returns. Stay steady when things turn, and enjoy the good you still have.
• Line 4: Those with plenty come down to meet their neighbors without show. Simple, sincere trust holds them together.
• Line 5: Someone of high standing joins with a humbler one in true partnership. Setting pride aside brings blessing and great good fortune.
• Line 6 (top): The wall slides back into the moat. The good time is turning; don't fight it with force, but tend to those closest to you.
