The judgment

Like the sun climbing over the land, things are moving up and into the light. A generous, capable person gets noticed and welcomed, again and again within a single day. Progress of this kind rests on serving something larger than yourself and letting your good qualities be seen.

The six lines

Read only the lines that changed in your casting, counting from the bottom.

• Line 1 (bottom): You set out and are turned back, or met with doubt. Stay calm and good-natured; quiet persistence without resentment keeps your path clear.
• Line 2: Progress comes, but with worry or sadness attached. Keep going steadily; support may come from an older, caring figure who sees your worth.
• Line 3: The people around you agree and lend their support. With that trust behind you, old regrets fall away.
• Line 4: Advancing like a hamster that hoards whatever it grabs. Gains taken greedily or in secret are shaky, and climbing this way invites trouble.
• Line 5: Regret falls away. Don't fixate on what you win or lose; act in good faith and things tend to go well.
• Line 6 (top): Charging ahead with lowered horns is fitting only for setting your own house in order, not for pushing others around. Aggression here carries risk, and clinging to it leaves you embarrassed.
