Ace of Wands Tarot Card Meaning
Minor Arcana, suit of Wands
spark, inspiration, new energy
The card
A hand reaches out of a cloud holding a living wand, fresh leaves still sprouting from the wood. Below, a river winds past a castle on a far hill. The card offers a spark: an idea, a wish or a burst of drive that wants to be used while it is warm. It asks what you would start if you trusted that first flicker of enthusiasm.
Upright meaning
A spark of inspiration or drive arrives; start something while the enthusiasm is warm.
Reversed meaning
The spark is there but stalls: delays, scattered energy or a start that never quite happens.
